"Then I'm doing a good job," Winter shrugs. "I used to be a lot worse. It's been a year, now-- six months since I started actually trying. So I've had time to practice." He looks down and away, admitting, "I'm not all the way there. But I'm better. I haven't really fed the Stranger more than a trickle in months." And that was usually regrettable side-effects of having to do something more important, like killing Katie Dunn or stopping civilians from hurting themselves.
