[Eda shifts a little bit uncomfortably. It's not really something she wants to talk about, but she'd rather he hear it from her than hear harpy woman tried to eat someone or whatever version of the rumor is going around at this point.
She fidgets with the edge of the menu she was reading before, peeling the plastic layers apart absently.]
I... may have gotten in a little fight with Raine. Over them not telling me if things were okay back home. [Also not a topic she wants to dwell on, but, once again, context is probably better than none. At least Hunter should understand some degree of why it was tearing her apart to not know, and why Raine didn't want to tell her they thought everyone was dead.]
Accidentally used some magic--I'll admit it didn't look great but I didn't hurt them, and I wasn't trying to. And by the time the ADI's guards got there we were sitting and talking. [More like sitting, hugging, and crying on each other, which makes the guards' response even less sensitive, but she's not sure she wants to include that.]
Didn't matter--they still treated me like a monster and they still threatened Raine and got rough with them for just... standing up for me. Trying to explain they were fine. So it's not like Raine's safety was the real issue. [Honestly, she seems a lot more actually angry about their treatment of Raine. It occurs to her she's not sure if Hunter even knows they knew each other.]
