John's been noticing the vans. It's so cliche, he's honestly expecting guys in suits that look like the Agents from the Matrix to burst out of them, which is...actually kind of terrifying and he's torn between keeping his distance and trying to figure out what's going on.
The thing is, he knows he could keep his distance all he likes, but they're not giving up. So confrontation is probably the only way out of this.
He's on his way up the road when he sees someone he vaguely recognizes from ADI, one of the new arrivals. There's something extremely familiar about her, but he's never gotten the chance to formally meet her.
It just so happens that John Sheppard knows quite a bit about certain TV shows with Star in them and he does kind of a double take when he gets close.
Okay. Yeah, that's uncanny, she looks a lot like--

"Hey--ADI, right?" he announces his presence as he lightly jogs up to the van. "Are we doing traffic stops today?"
