Canon: Encanto Age: 15 Housing: B2 Entity Affiliation(s): The Lonely Permissions: HERE Information: A spunky, adventurous girl who's magicless in an all-magic family. Has some issues regarding that, but buries it under a big ol pile of "I'm fine!!" so it's all good, right? She's been trying to settle into things, and recently it was suggested to her that she find a job. But she's been kind of struggling a lot to figure out her place here. ADI Thoughts: Very suspicious. She side eyes them a lot. CR Wanted: More friends! More people to... keep her on a short leash when she tries to take too much on herself. CR Not Wanted: Noooone that I can think of! Extra: I fell off the wagon this month and I'm looking to get back into the game! I don't really have any solid plans but I am gonna get an event top level up for her pretty soon here. Visuals:  |

Extra: My plurk is mostly RP, with some RL and the occasional bit of video game or tabletop content tossed in. I'm here for mystery and horror, and to play with how that impacts character and relationship development. Hurt/comfort's definitely a part of that, but I'm also here for codependence, thorny loyalties, and backstabbing. |
Canon: MCU Age: Early 30s. Ish. It's complicated. Housing: ADI housing, apartment C2 Entity Affiliation(s): None, and while I'm not ruling anything out, I have no plans for her to pick one up currently. Permissions: HERE Information: Yelena is the product of a horrible nightmare factory that trained young girls as spies and assassins, with all the trauma that implies. She's cynical and pragmatic, with a moral compass that's more intact than one might expect given her background, but is still undeniably skewed. She comes off as fairly friendly most of the time, but is slow to actually let people in, and prone to deflecting. If someone does get inside her guard, though, she's loyal to a fault. While she's accustomed to dealing with some genuinely horrifying things and pretty good at keeping her reactions locked down, the last several events have been rough, and she's not doing nearly as well as she pretends to be. She's also deeply frustrated by the feeling of treading water and just barely keeping pace with various disasters, which the current event definitely isn't helping. ADI Thoughts: She trusts ADI approximately as far as she can throw their headquarters. She's willing to work with them for now because that's where the answers are likely to be, but she thinks they're a lot more sinister than they pretend to be, and finds some of their tactics questionable. While she thinks it's fairly obvious they're being targetted at this point, she also thinks it's entirely possible that they deserve it. She works in Investigations, and as yet hasn't joined a secondary department, but does colonize the library with some regularity. CR Wanted: Friends, allies of necessity, fellow suspicious assholes to build a big old conspiracy board with. Yelena does have a few people she trusts, but I'd love to grow that list a little, and events can be an excellent jumping off point for some fire-forged friends action. I'm also very much open to negative CR, both in the sense of personality clashes that can make for some entertaining reluctant teamwork and in the sense of characters who are at cross-purposes or are genuinely hostile. CR Not Wanted: Nothing I can think of. Extra: Yelena's canonpoint is the end of the Black Widow movie, and I don't currently have any plans to canon update her, mostly because the update mechanism would require a pretty major push for her to go for it. I don't think that impacts anyone currently in the game, so this is mostly for disclosure purposes. Visuals:  |

Generally a kind person who likes to help where he can. He has an info post here for more details! He did what he could to help with the last event. Fell in a hole, you know. Mostly, he’s still finding his way, he’s blind so it’s been an uphill process. ADI Thoughts: He thinks they’re useful! Nice enough. He also doesn’t think he has many other options but to work with them right now. CR Wanted: Anyone who might want a strong arm or sharp intellect! Someone to help him adjust to life. In general: snark/humor friends, mystery exploring friends, people he can maybe accidentally or purposefully feed on by following/hunting them (likely out of curiosity/misunderstanding at least to start) CR Not Wanted: Nothing I can think of! Very open to anything right now. Extra: I’m open to a lot right now. Canon: Blade of the Immortal Age: 28 Housing: C-1 Entity Affiliation(s): The Corruption Permissions: HERE and I have an Opt Out Post here if needed. Information: Manji is your typical anime tough exterior but secret soft interior type of guy. He will say and do things in an attempt to look/act like an asshole, but deep down he does care a lot of about people. He currently has only one arm and he's from the 18th century Japan so he's struggling a bit with the technology of this place. ADI Thoughts: Manji is suspicious of ADI. Especially after the last event where he couldn't get an easy answer as to who escaped and what they were in for. He's recently escaped a secret underground prison where medical experiments were done on him and hundreds of other people in canon. The lack of information doesn't sit right with him. Yet, they are the best bet he has of getting home so he's not ready to backstab them just yet. CR Wanted: I'm so new that I would love all sorts of CR. I am a fan of both positive and negative CR (so long as there is open communication for the negative CR). So don't be afraid to tag me even if you don't think Manji and your character will get along all that well. CR Not Wanted: N/A Extra: Manji is getting a bit weak and very hungry as he's been doing his best to not feed the Corruption. I would love to change thing without handwaving that he freaked out some NPCs, but I admit I'm not entirely sure how to go about it just yet. Visuals:  |

Canon: Encanto Age: 50 Housing: ADI A4 with Neal and Katrina Entity Affiliation(s): The Eye Permissions: HERE Information: Bruno's an anxious mess of a seer. He's traumatized in some ways but weirdly sheltered in others, having grown up in a magical enclave untouched by the outside world...with a mother who put incredible pressure on her family in an effort to hold onto that protected life. I still need to jump into the most recent event with him, but it's safe to say he's feeling guilty over feeding the Eye while trapped in the apartments...and that he may have been creeping on your character if they were in apartment block A. ADI Thoughts: ADI is the best option Bruno has, but he got disillusioned with them pretty quickly when they CR Wanted: Want to get adopted by a worried uncle type? Conversely, want to adopt a neurotic little eyeball man? Either way, this is your guy. Bullies also welcome, but he's just...really easy to bully. It's not going to be much of a fight. CR Not Wanted: Not looking for romantic connections. Extra: Right now I don't have particular plans for his overall direction; my focus is mainly on running the game so I'm just trying to keep him emotionally tied in and easy to play. Visuals:  |

Canon: Prodigal Son Age: 34 Housing: ADI apartment B1 Entity Affiliation(s): No superpowers; mostly he's trying to stop his magical/powered friends from getting sucked in by Entities. Permissions: HERE Information: Malcolm is a former FBI Profiler turned NYPD consultant who specializes in murder and, more specifically, serial murder. He has severe cPTSD due to experiences with his father - a notorious serial killer nicknamed 'The Surgeon' - involving him finding a woman in a trunk in their basement and his father subsequently repeatedly chloroforming him to make him forget. At age 10. Once the chloroform started to lose its efficacy, Malcolm called the police and turned his father in. In the game, he's been lucky enough to have great roommates and the presence of his mentor, police lieutenant Gil Arroyo. He's recently started dating Neal Caffrey. Along the way, he's struggled with the effects of some of the events that preyed on his already fragile mental health. He's doing better right now. ADI Thoughts: Malcolm doesn't feel he has much choice in trusting ADI to some degree. He has to work for them to maintain reliable access to his medication and the housing gives him stability because he's with people he's built relationships with that give him support. He doesn't think ADI tells them everything and he is against their policy of killing people who go too far down the Entity path, but he will continue working for them. CR Wanted: Anything! But he is a good person to tell you hard truths, if you want someone to fill that role for your character. CR Not Wanted: Everything is on the table, friends. Lots of people find Malcolm annoying in canon, at least at first, and I am down for all types of CR. Extra: Can't think of anything but i love rolling with whatever pops up. Visuals:  |

Canon: Siren Age: early 20s Housing: A-4 with Bruno and Neal Entity Affiliation(s): The Extinction Permissions: HERE Information: Former mermaid alpha who would prefer if her kind could remain undisturbed in the ocean forever, thank you, EXCEPT plot happened and now she is entertaining the idea that some humans may be worthy allies. She works in security for ADI, thinks most of the rest of the PCs are weak physicallt but strong mentally, and is always ready to fight. Her English has improved a little since she got here. (She started learning back home, so now it's about gaining fluency.) ADI Thoughts: They're housing her and keeping her safe, so for now she thinks ADI are an ally. She's especially interested in saving her world, being that she's already worried about the possibility of her species going extinct. She won't switch sides unless ADI does something that she sees as a huge betrayal, like... idk, imprisoning her and running experiments on her like she's not a whole person, u feel? CR Wanted: If there are fellow warrior types out there, she would love to hang out and train together and fight things with them! People to help her learn human ways (both lighthearted and heavier) and form close bonds with. She's already lowkey keeping an eye out for her fellow interdimensional transplants, especially her physically weaker than her roommates. It comes from a place of responsibility for her. Just alpha things! Someone could beat her at something. I'm open to a lot! CR Not Wanted: Not really interested in surrogate parent type CR in any direction. Extra: Really I would love for her to take a different direction than she did in canon. I'd like her to learn not just to tolerate non-sirens, but to respect them and maybe even care for/about some of them. Also to explore how she adapts. I'm big soft, let's go. But also, I'm down to try just about anything, so hmu if you have ideas or wants! Extra: Here for p much anything that facilitates CR-building, particularly characters going through tough times together. Some of my favorite dynamics include "we don't like each other but we're working together anyway", "we SHOULDN'T like each other because our morals/goals/personalities are so different, but goddammit, there's just something about you", or the first thing leading into the second thing. My plurk is more shitposts and things I find interesting than RP talk, tbh; I can never stay on top of tag commentary/counting plurks and am generally better at chatting about threads one-on-one. |
Canon: Xena: Warrior Princess Age: Early to mid-twenties Housing: ADI C4, where she harasses Donna Noble. She hobos around a lot, too (when they're not snowed in...!). Entity Affiliation(s): None right now, but she could easily take interest in or catch the eye (har har) of the Buried, the Corruption, the Desolation, the End, the Hunt, or the Lonely. Basically if she doesn't end up Entity-affiliated by the end of this I'll be shocked; girl is a goldmine of bad decisions. Permissions: HERE Information: Stunted, violent, traumatized woman single-mindedly obsessed with the revenge quest that she's willingly let consume her life. She is very sad and very mad (smad, if you will). She's responding to the current event far worse than she has anything else so far, tbh; being cooped up indoors is no bueno. ADI Thoughts: She doesn't trust ADI, and she's not particularly invested in their mission, but she's happy to let them use her as a blunt instrument against their enemies if it gives her a shot at using their power to work towards her own goals (i.e. returning home). She works in both security and investigations, and has mostly been helpful (though uh, sometimes in a chaotic or otherwise unideal way), but it would be so, so easy to sway her towards the Entities instead if she thought she could get a better deal out of them. CR Wanted: COMPLICATED CR. CR that involves conflicting feelings, attitudes, or moods. CR that shifts around a bit as time goes on, or has surprising depths (ex. characters who get along but still have knock-down, drag-out fights, characters who don't get along but have moments when they can truly empathize with each other, etc. etc. etc.). CR that's ICly confusing or difficult to categorize. CR Not Wanted: Nothing I can think of off the top of my head. Extra: The really stupid outfit she has on in her icons is 100% what she wears on a daily basis in-game and I'm sorry. Sometimes she wears a mismatched snowpants and coat set over it! Visuals:  |

I'm already digging them with their current thread, but once things have thawed out a bit, maaaybe they can be warrior friends? Train some. Talk some. (Teach him about you Katrina, he likes learning)
Idk exactly how they'd get along, but I do think Yelena's sense of humor is right in line with Garner's, so maybe we can find a time for them to run into each other and see how it goes? He can't see the conspiracy board, but he'd be willing to help brainstorm it!

ABSOLUTELY. Has anybody been telling Garner that he needs to give it up and move on for his own sake? Callisto would be happy to swoop in and tell him that everybody is wrong and destroying yourself for the sake of revenge is a Great Goal, Actually.
