This isn’t so much an invitation to plot as it is an opportunity to tell you that I really dig our CR so far! I’m sorry Tony is going to be quite a pill for a little while. He’s very close to snapping in our thread so I apologize pre-emptively for if/when he does lol. His whole thing is pushing people’s buttons or testing their tolerance right away as a kind of litmus test for whether he can semi-trust them, and Jaeger being so accommodating of him is making Tony start to consider him a viable candidate for possible friendship/allyship in the future. Maybe. Major trust issues here!

In other words: Fragile goods, handle with care, Jaeger. You’re doing great so far! And who knows, if he and Tony do become allies/tentative friends somewhere down the line, they certainly have a lot in common where trauma is concerned. Tony definitely has potential to be an empathetic presence for Jaeger as well, if an unconventional one. If nothing else, they can bond over being tired middle-aged dudes amongst all these lively young whippersnappers lol. So yeah, let’s see where this CR takes us!

Yes, tired middle-aged dudes unite! :D I'm glad you're enjoying it too, I gotta say you're giving me plenty to work with! Jaeger can handle a little poking and scuffing, he's tough and doesn't take a lot of things personally so he might be a good person for Tony to have around. Someone calm and professional who will put up with so much of Tony's shit, and no more. He's also got a degree in Psychology so he actually is in his element here- he's spent a lot of his life and work dealing with people, trauma, and secrets, and he went to school to learn to make better sense of it.

So yes, absolutely here to see how it all works out. :)
